WFMW: Christmas!

For the next 6 weeks, I plan to post recipes for WFMW. I love to cook, but I like easy things the best... especially where the holidays are concerned! These are tried and true recipes that I have used for years and some people have used them for years before they gave them to me!

The recipe I chose for today is wonderful for Christmas morning breakfast because you can make it a day or two ahead of time and it's soooo easy! I got it from my baby sister a couple of years ago and I make it for all kinds of get-togethers.

You probably already have the ingredients in your kitchen!

GRAHAM STRUSEL CAKE
cake:
1 yellow cake mix ( you can use white, but yellow is best)
1C water
1/3C oil
2 eggs

topping:
1pkg. graham crackers crushed (there are usually 3 pkg.s in a box)
1 stick of butter (melted)
1C. brown sugar
1T. cinnamon

glaze:
1-1/2 C powdered sugar
2-3T milk or water

Mix cake ingredients together and pour in a 9x13 pan.
Mix topping ingredients and pour on top of cake mixture.
Swirl the topping into the cake with a knife.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
Drizzle with glaze right before serving.

Let me know how it turns out!
