WFMW: Refrigerator Page Holder

School is about to start and I know many of you will be getting lunch menus, practice schedules, calendars, and about FORTY THOUSAND other papers coming home each day. That's not to mention all of the wonderful works of 'art' the kids bring home.

To help save important papers from getting lost in the shuffle, I add magnets to the back of a regular plastic sheet protector (I put a sheet of paper inside for my demonstration). I used peel & stick business card magnets that you can get at any office supply store, but you could use whatever you have on hand.

I place one magnet along the side edge that opens (so it can hang vertically) and one along one of the adjacent sides (so it can hang horizontally).

Ta Da! A handy hanger for your papers!

This works better than simply hanging the paper on the fridge because it is less likely to blow off in a gust of wind and no one can 'borrow' the magnets from your page to hang something else up. You can make one for each activity, or one for each family member. You can easily slide a note inside of one of these as well or put sticky notes on the outside. You can also write on these with dry erase markers to add notes or to cross days off!

P.S. The salsa recipe is up over at The Fat Bottomed Girl!

great idea! I have some page protectors taped to the inside of my kitchen cabinets as well (I use clear packing tape) to post things like dosing guidelines for baby medicine, in a pinch substitutions for herbs/spices and the kids' lunch menu

Awesome! Thanks for sharing... I used a page protector to put of some rules in my boys room but I cut the extra plastic off with the holes on it... since I am not using them.

JOYfully in Him,

What a clever idea. You know everyone is going to hit the fridge sooner or later, so it makes a natural place to posting papers and this makes a perfect way to keep them safe.

Cheers!

What a wonderful idea! I am going to "borrow" it for my refrigerator. Have a good day!
