Today was the first day of school for Matthew. I can't believe he is already in the 4th grade! He has always been very mature for his age, but it still seems like he should be that little baby with the big smile. Instead, he is a little man with a big smile and big ideas.
He is the quarterback for his football team, he wants to sign up to be a crossing guard at school and he had his homework done before he even got home today (he did it on his 10 minute bus ride home).
I work at the schools, so it was my first official day back at work. I had worked a couple of days before school started to get everything back in order, but it's a much different story when there are 400 kids in the building.

I spent the weekend reworking my schedule in my head, dealing with the fact that my sitter and I were going to have to be "on call" and trying to figure out how to work the word progesterone into a post for an assignment.
All is well now, though. I feel like I've been through the ringer a couple of times, but I am breathing a little easier now that everyone is on the same page and I don't have to be ready to work on a whim.

Are you going to be working everyday? Or did I miss that part? Forgive me but Tuesdays are the worst!
