Play It Again

Matthew's All-Star team played game #2 in their round-robin tournament last night.

I have to admit that I was a little sad to see the uniforms of the opposing team when we pulled in. It was the orange team from just south of our little town and they are GOOD.

During the regular season, they beat us by 10 and that was the closest margine they had all season. This was their All-Star team, but that only means that there are more good players to contend with.

Our boys played a much better game than Thrusday night. Matthew got to start at second base and played there the whole game. He had pop-up hit to him (which he has had trouble catching in the past) and made a great catch for an out. Plus, he made a great flip for an out in another inning and a good throw home as a cut-off man (no out, but it was a good throw). Way to go Matthew!

We play today as well. I'll update you on the outcome of that later on today.

I doubt we'll be playing in the second leg of this tournament, but it was fun while it lasted. It's so great to see your kids doing something they love to do, doing a great job and having fun while they're at it.
