Weekend Links and Updates

See my latest craft post, "Make a Dr. Seuss Hat" at the award-winning blog, Make It from Scratch!

And the thing that started it all, the Make It From Scratch Carnival is up at Applehead. Take a gander!

If you aren't going to bed early tonight to make up for the extra hour we lose, check out "Thirteen Things to Know About Daylight Saving Time." Personally, I think it should be hyphenated, "Daylight-saving time". Any English majors out there agree with me?
The boys both had their final basketball games today. Matthew's team played at 8 AM and, unfortunately, lost. They did a fabulous job, but none of their shots would fall in in the second half. It wasn't for lack of trying, that's for sure.
Steven's team had a make-up game and it was fun to watch. Steven hung out with Matthew's team at practice on Friday night and picked up some skillz! I've never seen a 6 year old pivot that well! Look out LeBron! LOL! They don't keep score during his games, but if you ask him, they won by a long-shot!
When we got home from all the games and some errands, it was nice enough for the boys to go out and play some baseball in the back yard. ON TO THE NEXT SPORT! :o) I hooked up their perfect pitch thingy and they took turns hitting it. Then, Matthew pitched to Steven and both of them did really well and they had fun playing together. Matthew wanted to get out his pitching target, but it was way too windy for that. He's got the baseball itch already!
After all of the laundry equipment I bought the other day, I've decided I need to look into a place to buy wholesale housewares. I'm really wanting to get this house in order and get rid of some things that are getting worn out. That may have to wait until the budget allows, though. Such is life!
