We had an old friend stop by last week and it was so nice to see him again. I hadn't really heard anything about him- where he was living or what he was doing- for over 5 years. For all I knew, he could have been hours away filling out Philadelphia resumes.
He hasn't changed a bit and is as rowdy and ornery as ever. We wouldn't have expected any less!
Turns out he is living fairly close by. He has a son who just turned 5, so he brought him over Saturday night to play. He got along very well with Steven and he is so sweet.
It was so nice to catch up and hang out for a while seeing our kids play together. I really hope they come by again soon. We should all try and visit someone we haven't seen in a while more often.
