Busy, Busy! I Like It Like That!

WOW! Baseball is in full swing (pun totally intended)!

Matthew's practices are coming along well. Looks like the coach fancies him a pitcher. Matthew loves shortstop most of all, but he wanted to pitch last year and never told the coach until later in the season. I'll keep you up to date on how he's doing on that.

Steven began his practices last night and what a hoot! Not many things are cuter than twelve 5-year-olds learning to play t-ball! The coach's daughter has a rocket of an arm!!! WOW! She'd be even better if she'd make sure the person she's throwing to is looking at her. Either that or learn to yell, "head's up" more often. LOL! Steven did very well, but he does have an older brother and babysitting kids to play with. That's one thing Matthew didn't have the benefit of.

So we're running back and forth to practices 3 or 4 nights a week and having a BLAST! I've been waiting for this. I know it sounds crazy, but I thrive on the craziness of having the kids in sports. I don't know if it is because of how busy we all were growing up or if it's the fact that having something to do in the evening forces me to keep on task and plan what I'm doing each day.

One thing I am making time for today is the Make It From Scratch Carnival hosted at This Wasn't in the Plan. Wait till you see the great entries!!!

So I'm off again to finish supper, throw in another load of laundry and make sure everyone has everything ready for tomorrow. Have a great evening!

Ahhhhhhhhh. The good 'ole days. I remember them fondly.

T-Ball can be a hoot, that's for sure!

we started baseball too. Caleb is the only one playing this year, but the girls love to play at the park while he is practicing
