A Fun Trip to the Pizza Shop

Steven's first year of preschool is winding down, but they made time for one more field trip. They've already gone to the pumpkin farm and the post office. This trip took them to the local pizza shop. The kids got to make their own small pizza and tour the kitchen while the pizzas baked. Afterward, it was time to eat the pizzas. It was very interesting and a lot of fun!

Steven only ate one piece of his pizza. He saved the rest to share with Daddy and Matthew when they got home. As soon as they came through the door, Steven was diving into the fridge. I warmed up 4 slices and we all had the best afternoon snack. Steven saved his last slice for his supper. I was impressed- he even ate the crust every time!

I almost forgot! The walls of the pizza shop were covered with pictures from the local high school. There are championship teams and individuals with state records all over the place. I had fun looking at all of the pictures from every different sport. Then, I found this hunk...
Number 35 is my dear sweet hubby when he was 17. YOWZER! Isn't he CUTE?!?! I'm a sucker for a man in a uniform, even if it is shoulder pads and a jersey. That jersey he is wearing is now hanging on Matthew's door at home.

What a great field trip and to top it all off by seeing his daddy on the wall. How neat is that?
