A couple of weeks ago, I started tackling our clothes. It started to warm up here and I took out all of our summer clothes so I could replace our winter clothes.
We had some wonderful warm days, but the temperature dropped drastically (30 degrees in 24 hours) and we had a cold spell for over 2 weeks.
As you other moms will understand, switching clothes isn't an easy task when you have kids. You must go through what they wore last year and see what still fits. Then, you must go through the hand-me-downs from the older sibling(s) and see what will fit or what is still good (I despise it when I get something out that Matthew wore and the elastic is dry-rotted and useless). Finally, you have to put away their winter clothes that they may be able to wear again next winter and get rid of things they have grown out of. It is no small task!
The clothes I had taken out stayed where they were and they are still there. I will be tackling them today. Here are some photos I took the first time around. I will take more pics and update you later on... that is IF I can remember where I put my camera. :o)
