This one is worth recording...
I walked into Steven's room tonight to clear a path to his bed, but.....
...IT WAS ALREADY CLEAN!!!
I mean it! No Lego's waiting to pierce the bottoms of my feet. No Star Wars guys littering the floor. No video game cases to slip on and crack into a hundred splinters of sharp plastic that you can't even vacuum up. No light sabers to trip over and in the process turn them on with undulating noises and blinking lights.
Not... that any of that has...you know... happened before... or anything.
As if that weren't enough of a dream-come-true for a tired mommy, I didn't even have to put the sheets and comforter back on his bed! Can you imagine?!?!
I haven't had a night like this since before he could walk!!!
If he falls asleep on time, Mike and I might even get to have a night like we haven't had since before he could climb out of his crib! Wink! LOL!

Um what is the catch? What did he want?
I was going to ask the same thing as Steph! My kids always want something in return.
