Bloggy Break Time

I've taken a little bloggy break.

Its been a stressful couple of days around here with Matthew having a little anxiety about his new math class- he got moved a grade ahead and was feeling overwhelmed- a couple of rough days at work and some urgent repairs to my car. I feel like each time I take a step forward, I have to take two steps back.

Mike had worked some overtime last week and that all ended up going to the repairs for my car (Thank you, Honey!) and I feel like a worn-out doormat at work for doing the same job as the other lady in the kitchen while she makes twice what I do. I just feel as though I'm not making any progress and what I was told at the beginning of the school year keeps getting changed or rearranged. I am really trying to keep up my usually positive attitude through this, but it is getting harder each day.

At one point this week, I was just ready to tell Mike we should get ourselves some Arizona luxury real estate and get out of Dodge. Then I remembered his sister saying that she couldn't wait to get back to Ohio after moving to Arizona.

Anyway, had we actually moved to Arizona, I couldn't have borrowed his sister's car while mine was being worked on and that was such a lifesaver!! (Thank you Shelly!)

I know that God has a reason for all of this, but it is so hard to live life according to His time and not mine. I need to remember: patience, patience, patience.

I had a day off today and I went with Steven's preschool class to a local apple orchard. We had a great time! It was so nice. We learned a lot about making cider and growing apples.

So I'm not sure how long this break will last and I can't promise that I will or will not post over the weekend. I hope you'll bear with me as I enjoy a little down time and regroup so I can once again bring you more of the mediocre content you are used to here. ;o)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Take a deep breath. Smell the roses (or the apple cider) and relax. We'll be here when you get back.

Just remember, we all go through this at one time or another. I'm sure your positive turn around is just around the corner! We still love you!
