Does Anyone Else Have This Problem?

This morning, Matthew (9 yo) was getting dressed and hops out of the bathroom with his pants around his knees.

Matthew: Mom, these pants are too small for me. I can't get them pulled up all the way.

Me: Umm... you have to unbutton and unzip them first.

Seriously! He will pull his jeans up and down without unzipping or unbuttoning them. He's so skinny that he's gotten away with it for years, but now that the pants actually fit him (read 'aren't falling off of him') he doesn't want to make the effort to use them as intended. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but is it really that tough of a task? Anyone else have this problem?

Too funny. Kellen doesn't do that, but he will button and almost never zips with out a reminder.

Jarrett does this too! Brandon use to but now he's too big. If Jarrett can't get his jeans up he automaticly thinks I gave him Brandon's and gets out a new pair. I guess that excuse isn't going to work too much longer since they can wear some of the same pants. Jarrett also comes home from school alot with his zipper down!

No, I'm afraid I've always had to unzip my pants to get them down. I must be huge. :)

My 4 year old daughter refuses to wear anything that needs to be snapped or zipped. I have no idea why.
